As we visited Magic Kingdom yesterday morning, we noticed a few shops behind scrims. Let’s take a look.
The leftmost side of The Emporium is currently behind scrims. The Emporium spent months behind scrims this year and work on the main entrance has only recently been unveiled.
Further down Main Street USA you’ll find the section of The Emporium nearest Casey’s Corner is also behind scrims. While Disney does a great job theming the scrims to look like the underlying facade, it’s still never fun to see them pop up on Main Street USA.
That said, a refreshed look is always welcome and with Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary just a few years away, we anticipate more work to come to all corners of the park.
