PHOTOS: Massive Land Clearing Underway for Tron at Magic Kingdom

A couple of days removed from the first trees being cleared, we’re back with a look at the massive tree clearing going on at the Tron construction site. Disney isn’t wasting any time past their early February start date on making room for a Tron roller coaster at Magic Kingdom.

This first photo shows the pond that will sit to the north of the Tron roller coaster site.

A look at the land clearing work.

There is now a line of sight from the back of the construction site to Cinderella Castle.

The land clearing will be nearly 8 acres in total, once complete.

Tron will open in time for Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary in October 2021.
