PHOTOS: Vertical Construction Begins on Epcot Space Restaurant Projection Wall

While visiting Epcot this morning we noticed that vertical construction has started on the walls that will contain space scenes in the new Space Restaurant near Mission: SPACE.

The walls are visible from back near the Test Track entrance.

Here’s a closer look from the ground. The curved wall on the right is the giant wall that will be projected onto. For a look at the foundation that this curved structure will be set into, check out our earlier photo report.

The straight wall seen below will be the “back” wall and contain the bar and access to the kitchen, which is the large building seen in the background.

The Space Restaurant doesn’t have an official opening date yet.
