As we continue to provide you with a first look inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, we have a look at some of the shops located in the outdoor Marketplace.
Just like everything in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, visual reveals play a big part of the Marketplace as well. There are two main entrances. The one pictured below is from the side of the Marketplace closest to the Resistance forest, or the outskirts of the Black Spire Outpost village. As you can kind of see from here, the Marketplace will be open air, with some shade coverings provided by the layers of cloth hanging above our heads.
Walking into the Marketplace, we get our first look at a couple of different shops where you can support the local economy of Batuu and buy a large assortment of merchandise.
We start at the Creature Stall, where you’ll be able be able to buy items such as the Kowakian Monkey-Lizard that will sit on your shoulder like the Banshees of Pandora – The World of Avatar, plush versions of Rathtars, Porgs, and Tauntauns, and even a Loth Cat.
Elsewhere in the Marketplace, we will find Toydarian Toymaker where you can find toys and games crafted by a Toydarian (the flying alien species first seen in “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace”), and Black Spire Outfitters which showcases the latest in galactically trendy apparel and accessories.
Here’s a closer look at Toydarian Toymakers and some of the plush items you’ll be able to find.
