One of the last pieces of the Pixar Pier transformation is the introduction of an Inside Out attraction called the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind. Part of the “Inside Out Headquarters” neighborhood in Pixar Pier, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind is a spinner type attraction that will take guests up into the air on an emotional adventure. Our last look at the construction back in January saw just the foundation in place. Today, we have a new look at the progress thanks to our friends at Try Everything Daily on Instagram.
A look at the attraction from the ground only hints at what can be seen from an elevated view. From the ground, we can see the arms of the spinner have been installed, as well as what appears to be the wall that will house the memory orbs.
From the air, we can see that the memory orb wall has, in fact, been installed. We also get a really good look at how far along crews are on the arms of the spinner. It looks like more props for the spinner are staged nearby.

The Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind is scheduled to open at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure later this year.
