Disney has just announced that they plan on offering Annual Passholder previews of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge ahead of the opening date of August 29th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here are the announced details.
Platinum, Platinum Plus and Premier Annual Passholders will be among the first to experience Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with special preview opportunities planned before the land’s opening on Aug. 29. Capacity is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be no cost for the Annual Passholder previews of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
More information and registration details for previews will be shared at a later date.
This news lines up with our speculation that the land was making good progress based on the May 2019 aerial images from our friends at Nearmap.
If you just can’t wait until August 29th, we understand! Here’s a full 360° Virtual Reality walk-through video of the entire land at Disneyland. The majority of the land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be the same as Disneyland, with differences found in the amount of entrances in the land and about .5 acres worth of walking space.
