As part of a limited-time test, select guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are now being offered a new model of stroller to rent. One of the new stroller models is similar to what is now available at the Disneyland Resort, offering storage baskets and reclining seats.
The other model is a single seat stroller and appears to offer a very comfortable ride. Both of the strollers will be put into rotation later this afternoon when the test begins. Cast Members did not know how long the test would run for, but they are looking for feedback on the new strollers to possibly work them into the daily operations at Walt Disney World.
Disney will be using this test as a way to see how the new strollers will meet the demands of guests visiting Walt Disney World as compared to Disneyland. Both single and double stroller models will be available during this test. There is no additional charge for the test strollers.
