There is a major overhaul scheduled for Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland next year. According to Disney, the attraction will see an extensive refurbishment in 2020, although they weren’t able to provide refurbishment dates yet.
According to a permit filed with the city of Anaheim, Disney will be replacing the centerpiece plank bridge that riders cross as Mara attempts to collapse it. While the bridge appears rickety, it’s actually a steel structure, which crews will be completely replacing. Disney will also refurbish rockwork around the attraction.
March 4, 2020 will mark the 25th anniversary of the attraction.
