BREAKING: Fire in Storybook Circus Displaces Character Meet and Greets; Closes Big Top Souvenirs at Magic Kingdom

According to Cast Members we’ve spoken with, there was a fire in Storybook Circus last night that has led to some entertainment changes today as crews assess the full scope of the damage. The fire reportedly took place in Big Top Souvenirs, which is a gift shop within Storybook Circus, and the damage is said to be quite extensive. As you can see in the photo below, Storybook Circus is closed off to the public, and the fire, which reportedly occurred overnight, has been contained. Characters that would normally be found meeting in Pete’s Silly Sideshow are meeting periodically outside near the restrooms.

As of publish time, it’s unclear when Big Top Souvenirs will reopen to guests and the extent of the damage from the reported fire.
