You might notice some changes and upgrades to Monorail Silver and Monorail Green the next time you travel along the highway in the sky. Ever since the incident that caused a monorail door to swing open during operation, Disney has methodically been refurbishing the monorails to address the issue as well as provide some upgrades. Recently, we were able to ride both Monorail Silver and Monorail Green to capture some photos of the new look. Here’s a look around.
One of the most noticeable and appreciated upgrades is to the seats. While the shape and general comfort remains the same, they’ve been completely reupholstered, now sporting a woven pattern that “feels” better and softer.
