The 2025 runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is underway, and that means that you can expect some road closures when driving around Walt Disney World this weekend. Here’s a look at the planned road closures and timing of how to get around property.
Princess 10K Road Closures (Sat, Feb. 22)
The roadway impacts will be relatively minimal on Saturday, February 22nd. The biggest impact will be for runners and their families as it relates to getting into the EPCOT parking lot. Disney says that they plan on reopening most major roadways by 7:30pm and all roadways by 9am. If you’re driving to EPCOT for rope drop on the 22nd, plan on allowing for extra traffic as you get closer to the park.
Princess Half Marathon Road Closures (Sun, Feb. 23)
The main roadway impacts will be on Sunday, February 23rd as the Half Marathon route takes runners from EPCOT to Magic Kingdom and back. The biggest impact will be a closure of World Drive northbound to the Magic Kingdom auto plaza until 8am. World Drive southbound will be closed until 9:30am and some roadways around EPCOT will be closed until 10am. Additional impacts will be found along World Drive past the auto plaza.
