Walt Disney World has finally installed a permanent exterior sign for the GEO-82 Spaceship Earth lounge. Gone are the days of the A-frame sandwich board. The new sign has been installed on the west side entrance to Project Tomorrow, the closest doorway to the adults-only lounge. Here’s a closer look.

We stopped by EPCOT recently and found new signage installed outside the west entrance to Project Tomorrow. This is the Spaceship Earth post-show building that houses GEO-82. The waist-high, angular sign sits in the flower bed just outside the entrance. It displays GEO-82’s silver logo above the venue’s name in a raised typeface. The sign is primarily blue, matching the nearby exterior wall color.
This west side entrance is the closest access point to GEO-82. The adults-only lounge is just a few steps inside the doorway hidden behind the blue wall. From there, guests take either the stairs or an elevator up to the second floor where the lounge can be found.
The new sign replaces the A-frame signage that had marked this entrance since GEO-82 first opened. That temporary setup felt more like an afterthought than a permanent solution. For a lounge charging premium prices, it felt like Disney could do better. Thankfully, a permanent sign is now in place.
