Travel-themed entrance decor for the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has arrived at the park’s main entrance. Guests can now spot the display on their way in, days ahead of the festival’s August 27th start. Stacked trunks and travel cases stand in front of Spaceship Earth this year, and each one carries stickers representing festival dishes going back to 1996. The luggage theme marks the festival’s 30th anniversary and is a perfect theme for eating around the world. Here’s a closer look!

EPCOT’s Entrance Celebrates 30 Years of Food & Wine
A large pink trunk sits at the centerpiece of the display, directly in front of Spaceship Earth. The trunk pops open to reveal a multi-tier cake topped with “30” candles. Two lit sparklers flank the cake, along with a pair of champagne bottles. A round rolling suitcase stands beside the trunk, serving as the marquee and reading “EPCOT INTERNATIONAL FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL 2026.” Below the trunk, a hanging luggage tag reads “BOARDING, AUGUST 27th,” the festival’s opening date.
Smaller suitcases surround the centerpiece on both sides. Colorful sticker-style badges cover each case, shaped like the kind of patches a well-traveled suitcase might collect on a trip. The badges name specific festival dishes alongside the country and the year each one debuted. A teal case carries a Filet Mignon badge marked “Canada, 2011,” next to a Frozen Szarlotka badge marked “Poland, Swirled Showcase, Introduced 2013.” A mint green case nearby features a Potato-Pea Samosas badge marked “India, 2005.” The same case carries a Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse Trifle badge marked “Hops & Barley, 2011, Festival Favorites.”
Standing signs placed throughout the flower beds expand on the suitcase theme. One reads “CHEERS TO 30 YEARS!” over an illustration of two clinking champagne flutes. The festival’s August 27th through November 21st run dates print across the top of that sign. A second sign, styled like the side of a piece of luggage, carries dish badges spanning multiple festival years edge to edge. Seafood Roll and Roasted Lamb Chop from Australia in 2006 both appear. So do Rodizio-style Beef Skewer from Argentina in 2009 and Belgian Waffle, introduced in 2010.
At the back, an “EPCOT INTERNATIONAL FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL 2026” sign stands near the center of the display. Its lettering sits against a light pink background, with an illustration of Remy and Emile from Ratatouille at the bottom. A teal badge in the sign’s corner reads “30 years” to mark the anniversary.
A Look Back at 30 Years of Dishes
The badges scattered across the luggage aren’t random. Each one calls back to a specific dish and the year it first appeared at the festival. Together they turn the entrance display into a sort of timeline for longtime attendees. A Dumplings Trio badge marks China’s 2006 debut. India’s 2004 debut gets a Chicken Tikka Masala badge, and South Korea’s 2010 debut as a Festival Favorite gets one for Bo Ssam Lettuce Wraps. Other badges point to more recent additions, including Crab and Corn Macaroni and Cheese from The Wedge in 2015 and Pickle Milkshake from Brew-Wing Lab in 2023.
This retrospective touch fits the festival’s 30th anniversary theme, which carries through into this year’s Foodie Guide as well. Disney marked 30 returning or reimagined dishes throughout the 2026 menus with a special anniversary icon. Many of those dishes match the badges seen on the entrance decor.
