Guests looking to visit GEO-82 now have a bit more signage to help them on their journey. In addition to the signage near the entrance to Spaceship Earth, there is new GEO-82-specific signage near the western entrance to the currently closed Project Tomorrow post-show area. Here’s a look around.
GEO-82 During Spaceship Earth Refurbishment
With Spaceship Earth closed for the next few months due to a refurbishment, the best way to enter GEO-82 is currently unavailable. That is, you can’t ride Spaceship Earth before visiting GEO-82 near the exit of the attraction. Instead, you’ll be forced to use the western entrance to the Project Tomorrow post-show building. Of course, Project Tomorrow itself is closed as part of the refurbishment, so here’s a look at what guests will find when visiting GEO-82 over the next few months.
Once inside, you’ll find a jungle of temporary plants. It feels more like a Velociraptor meet and greet than the entrance to an adults-only bar, but perhaps Disney will install a more formal wooden construction wall here soon.
