Shocking video has been posted to social media showing the doors open on a monorail while in motion with guests on board.
While we’re not sure how the doors opened in the first place, it’s unbelievable that this is even possible given the technology widely available to the Walt Disney Company. The last time Disney invested in a new monorail line was all the way back in 1989, with the introduction of the Mark VI monorail line currently in use at Walt Disney World.
We’re glad to see nobody was injured and hope that Disney takes the appropriate steps to make sure this isn’t possible in the future.
