Resort Monorail Line Experiencing Downtime at Walt Disney World This Evening

The Resort Monorail is down, forcing guests from Magic Kingdom area resorts to use other modes of transportation to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom. It’s unclear when the monorail went down, but Cast Members are advising guests to use alternate modes of transportation this evening. While guests at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Disney’s Contemporary Resort can walk to Magic Kingdom, the walkway from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is still closed due to nearby construction for the DVC tower.

The mechanical tug is out on the line, presumably addressing whatever issues have forced the downtime.
