Disney has refreshed the international theme parks display inside Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The update swaps in new photos and revised placard text covering Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney Resort, and Hong Kong Disneyland. The wall now leads with a section called “A Whole New Disney World.” It replaces the previous “Two Whole New Disney Worlds” panel. Disney also renamed the Disneyland Paris section “Disney Meets Europe.”

  • The “Disney Meets Europe” panel now references the Disney Adventure World rename
  • Several photos were swapped for newer shots of Tokyo DisneySea and Hong Kong Disneyland
  • The “Disney Comes to China” panel’s placard text is unchanged

We stopped by Walt Disney Presents and compared the current display to an earlier version. The most significant change is in the Disneyland Paris section, now titled “Disney Meets Europe.” The updated placard text notes that Disney renamed the former Walt Disney Studios Park as Disney Adventure World in spring 2026. It also lists four upcoming lands for the park. Those are World of Frozen, World of Pixar, Avengers Campus, and a fourth land inspired by “The Lion King.”

What Changed in the Display

The previous version of the wall grouped Tokyo Disney Resort and Disneyland Paris under one panel, “Two Whole New Disney Worlds.” That panel has been split. Tokyo Disney Resort now gets its own section. It’s titled “A Whole New Disney World.” Disneyland Paris moved to a new panel of its own, called “Disney Meets Europe.”

Disney also updated photography throughout the display. The Tokyo DisneySea section now features a sunset photo of Mount Prometheus, replacing the previous daytime shot. The Disneyland Paris section added a nighttime photo of Hyperspace Mountain, and a daytime photo of the Frozen-themed lake show. Disney also added a shot of the Aladdin-themed carousel building from Tokyo DisneySea.

The “Disney Comes to China” panel covering Hong Kong Disneyland kept its same placard text. Disney did refresh the surrounding photography with newer images of the park, though.

A Broader Look at Disney Adventure World

The rename and expansion referenced on the updated display has been a multi-year project. Then-Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro first revealed the Lion King-themed land for the park at the 2024 D23 Expo. Imagineers have continued to release new details since. As we reported when Disney confirmed next-gen Audio-Animatronics for the ride, the new attraction will place riders alongside Simba’s journey from cub to king.

Disney has also released updated concept art and layout details for the Lion King land as construction has progressed. Imagineers first displayed detailed scale models of the project at the 2024 D23 Expo. One version of the model shows Pride Lands set within the full Disney Adventure World park.

The international parks wall sits near the end of the Walt Disney Presents museum tour. It’s not far from the Walt Disney Imagineering display for Monstropolis, Tropical Americas, and Piston Peak National Park.
