Down to One Style on the Shelf
We stopped by Windtraders at Pandora – The World of Avatar this morning and found the interactive shoulder banshee lineup almost entirely sold out. Only one style remains in stock, the purple “Thistle” banshee, while the other refreshed styles are no longer available.
The current wave launched in November 2024, when four new interactive styles arrived at Windtraders to replace the original toy. Thistle was the lone style without a matching clan gear pack at launch, since the refresh shipped four banshees but only three gear packs. Now it is the only style left, period.
A Possible Restock
Cast Members we spoke with were unsure of when the other styles would be restocked, but they were hopeful that it would be soon. The “Thistle” shoulder banshee has been the lone style available for the past week or so.
The Story So Far
- In September 2024, we reported that stock was running low on the previous version of the shoulder banshee ahead of a refresh.
- In October 2024, we found that one style had permanently sold out as the old lineup wound down.
- In November 2024, the four-style refresh debuted at Windtraders with all-new packaging, a wireless remote, and banshee-to-banshee connectivity.
- Now, that refreshed lineup is itself down to a single style in stock.
What Happens Next
The big question is when Disney refills the existing four-style lineup. It is unlikely that the low stock right now is due to a style change, but it’s possible. We will keep checking the Rookery and update you when the banshees return.
