According to a YouTube video posted by BigSurgz, a guest climbed onto the set of the Carousel of Progress attraction at Magic Kingdom on December 7th. The guest can be seen in the video below, attempting to use the butter churn to no avail. A second guest attempted to intervene and pull the first guest off of the set, but was unable to do so.
Twitter user @JennyENicholson tweeted an announcement to other guests on the attraction. In the video below, you can hear a Cast Member tell guests that they would “unfortunately be viewing this scene a second time”, as Cast dealt with unexpected downtime in the scene ahead.
Another twitter user claimed to be on the attraction during the incident and sent a couple of tweets recounting what they saw.
There doesn’t appear to be too much damage to the attraction, and it should be operational this morning at Magic Kingdom. We’ll keep an eye on the situation and let you know if there will be any extended downtime due to the incident.
