As we continue to keep an eye on park hours for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, we have a bit of an odd change to report.

According to the Walt Disney World calendar, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will no longer be closing at 6pm on May 6, 2020. The hours for the park were previously listed as 9am to 6pm, but closing has been recently extended to an 8:30pm close.

While the park hours have been extended for May 6th, Rivers of Light is still not listed online as having a showing that date. Of course, if the park was going to close at 6pm, that means that a showing of Rivers of Light wouldn’t be possible, like the two 6pm closings in April.

We anticipate that Disney will re-add a Rivers of Light showing (or two) to May 6th and will update you when they do.
