What started as a permit back in November 2019 has matured into the first piece of concept art for the proposed 12-story Disneyland Hotel DVC tower.
Thanks to the OC Register, we have a look at the concept art as well as some new details.
First, the new Disney Vacation Club tower is planned to open in 2023 and will have a Mickey-shaped spa, outdoor pool bar, and multi-level grand villas with balconies that overlook the Disneyland Hotel property.
Out of the 350 DVC rooms planned, 271 will be large studios, 38 small studios, 20 two-bedroom suites, 19 one-bedroom suites, and two Grand Villas. No food, retail, meeting, or banquet facilities are planned for the tower.
A two-story open-air ground floor would allow guests to walk through the building. Multi-colored panels would stretch the height of the Disney Vacation Club tower on the end of the building with the multi-level grand villas. A crackled cream pattern would wrap around the other end of the mostly glass building. Balconies would offer views for rooms at both ends of the building.
Here’s a look at the location of the proposed DVC towers.
