As Epcot prepares the finishing touches on two new restaurants, we noticed some new walls up near what could very likely be the new Space 220 Restaurant (OVERVIEW).
Originally announced back in July 2017, it’s been quite a long time in development for what promises to be one of the hardest dining reservations to secure in Epcot when it finally opens. Disney, surprisingly, has yet to announce an opening date, but job postings suggest the dining location could open next month.
Recently, new walls went up for what appears to be a possible new sign for the Space 220 Restaurant.
The reason we believe it could just be for signage is because of the limited scope of the construction walls. The walls seem to be limited to just a small area in front of, and to the right of the Mission: SPACE attraction. It’s likely that the walkway seen to the left of the walls will serve as the entrance to the restaurant.
The walkway in the photo above eventually leads to another construction wall, which has been in place for some time now.
Here’s a look at where the signage could be, in the green space to the right of the attraction.
As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to cover the Space 220 Restaurant and much more from around the Disney Parks.
