As we get closer to the phased, gradual reopening of Disney Springs on May 20th, we’re getting more information from third-party locations as to their status on that day. We’ve reached out to many of the third party locations to provide you with information directly from each location to assist with your planning. As a reminder, Wine Bar George has already announced their safety procedures and has begun to accept reservations.

Earlier today, we received word from Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ and Splitsville Luxury Lanes. Both locations will not be open on May 20th as they give their staff more time to get back up to speed. A spokesperson from the location said that they are “taking things slow to ensure we have a safe environment for our guests and employees”.

As we get more information from other locations and as we get more official word from Disney we will have a better idea of just how slowly things will progress during this phased opening.

As a reminder, Disney Springs will begin to reopen in a way that incorporates enhanced safety measures, including increased cleaning procedures, the use of appropriate face coverings by both cast members and guests, limited-contact guest services and additional safety training for cast members.

During the initial opening phase, Disney Springs will have limitations on capacity, parking and operating hours. Disney has stated that only third-party operating participants will be included in this initial phased reopening. Disney will apply learnings and ideas from leaders in the health and travel industries during each phase of reopening the Walt Disney World Resort.

It’s important to note that the Disney theme parks and resorts will remain closed on May 20th. As a matter of fact, Disney has removed theme park hours through May 30th and may continue to extend those closures.
