UPDATE: Disney Will Not Submit a Reopening Proposal Tomorrow

Earlier this afternoon, local news station WFTV reported that Disney would be presenting a reopening proposal during tomorrow’s Orange County Task Force meeting. Disney has since reached out to CNBC to say that the WFTV reporting was incorrect. It is currently unknown when Disney would present their reopening plan, which would include a reopening date per Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ orders.

Disney stocks had jumped to a high of $120 after the WFTV report, and finished the day just under $120, a high mark since late-February when Disney began shuttering theme parks around the world.
