Here Are the Attractions and Shows That Will Remain Closed When Disney World Reopens

While we have already published a full list of the attractions, entertainment, and shops that will reopen, we wanted to put together a list of attractions that will not reopen when the parks do in mid-July. This list is based on what Walt Disney World lists as an “attraction” on their website versus the list of operating attractions put out by Disney. We’ve also included shows, and will update this list as more information becomes available. Keep in mind that all nighttime spectaculars, fireworks, and parades are also cancelled.

    1. I don’t think Launch Bay should reopen at all, because it wasn’t meant to exist after Galaxy’s Edge opened and Chewbacca appearing at both GE and LB made little to absolutely no sense whatsoever. Disney should move on and when construction immediately resumes on WDW property, a replacement for SWLB would make perfect sense.

    2. I agree Ryan, the Star Wars Launch Bay should not reopen at all now that Galaxy’s Edge exist and like you said having Chewbacca appear at both GE and LB makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Disney should definitely find a replacement for the SWLB, but what would that replacement be?

    3. So more than half of the things at Hollywood Studios won’t be reopening? Honestly, they would be better off keeping the place closed and using the time to get refurbishments done faster. I can’t imagine anyone taking a family trip and spending thousands of dollars when most of the stuff will still be closed. The only ones who will go are Florida residents and people with AP, who Disney makes the least amount of money off of.
