While visiting Disney Springs recently, we noticed that construction on Gideon’s Bakehouse was progressing nicely. As you can see in the photos below, crews have gutted the interior of the upcoming Gideon’s Bakehouse. Previously, the location was home to Rustic Cuff and Erwin Pearl before that.

In addition to the construction, the theme of the location was revealed to be an old bookstore. As you may know, the backstory of Disney Springs calls for most locations to be repurposed for their current tenant. For example, Morimoto Asia is in the old Springs Bottling Company building, D-Luxe Burger is located in the old Glowing Oak Ranch building.

In the case of Gideon’s Bakehouse, they have repurposed Lindwurm Bookseller Curious Books & Antiquities shop.
