Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Room Refurbishment to be Inspired by ‘Moana’

On the heels of an announcement that Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort would remained closed until Summer 2021, a Disney spokesperson has confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel that a room refurbishment would take place and be inspired by Moana.

The room refurbishment will be centered around a Pacific Ocean-inspired color palate and contain details, patterns, and textures from Moana. Disney has already implemented Moana details into the carpet at ‘Ohana, a popular restaurant at the resort.

Disney will share more details about the retheme and concept art at a later date.
