Tangierine Café has is now listed as temporarily closed on the Walt Disney World website. The quick service dining location initially reopened with the rest of EPCOT on July 15th, but has since closed its doors due to a lack of demand, according to Scott Gustin.
As we’ve told you for a couple of weeks now, there is a palpable lack of demand to take a Walt Disney World vacation right now, leading to some unbelievably low crowds around the theme parks when compared to last summer. EPCOT is also the only Disney World theme park that has seen wait times go down week-over-week since they opened. Disney is looking at not only a slow rest of the summer, but also fall as well with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party canceled.
Well darn it. I understand why it makes sense to stay closed for now, but I really hope they reopen once bigger crowds start to return. They had some of the best food in Epcot, and for a pretty good price considering you are in Disney World.
I understand the mask requirements for shopping and maybe ride waiting but not for the outside. I would go except mask requirements for out side … and not to mention the they regulate the type of mask you wear and all know masks will not stop this virus but any face covering can slow it down
So until either no mask required outside walking around, stop regulating types of masks or this is a 100% done i think the attractions will continue to see a decrease in visitors
Now where am I going to get my shawarma 🥙 fix?
