Disney World Removes Website References to FastPass+ After Errant Reporting Claims January 2021 Resumption of Service

Disney World has updated a page on their website that was reported to indicate that the FastPass+ service would be returning in January 2021. A screenshot of a Disney World page spread on social media after some had claimed that it was indicative of a return of the FastPass+ service in January. Here’s a look back at the page that previously referenced FastPass+.

After a quick glance at the page, it became obvious that this was old information. Other data on the page suggested that it was posted in 2019 to help guests plan for an early 2020 visit, and not for an early 2021 visit.

Now, the page has been updated by Disney to remove any references to FastPass+ to help the average guest realize that the page does not serve as an announcement that FastPass+ would be returning in January 2021. Here’s a look at the updated page with the reference removed, but other old information intact.

We’re happy to see Disney update the page to prevent further confusion. If and when Disney World announces the return of the FastPass+ service, we’ll be sure to keep you updated!
