Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Construction Goes Vertical at Disneyland

Just moments ago, we wrote that Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway would be delayed until 2023 at Disneyland, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t work taking place on the Toontown expansion plot.

Earlier this evening, Disneyland President Ken Potrock shared a view of Mickey and Minnie’s Runway Railway going vertical at Disneyland.

The post was followed up by a post from Walt Disney Imagineering, showcasing the milestone for the project.

Of course, the delay in opening could be expected given the halt in construction for COVID-19, but that likely meant that we were looking at a late 2022 opening before, and we’re looking at an early 2023 opening now. Exact timelines for the opening of the attraction have not been announced.
