A new rumor suggests that Disneyland may have abandoned early concepts for an Encanto Treehouse at Disneyland, and is instead going to add some theming from the Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.) to the treehouse instead. Disneyland fan site MiceChat, who originally reported the Encanto overlay, is now saying that an S.E.A. theme is likely for the treehouse. The theme would be that the treehouse would serve as a meeting place and hideout for S.E.A. members. At the moment, all we have to go on is speculation as the treehouse reimagining project was not mentioned by Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro at the recent D23 Expo.

D’Amaro did mention Encanto as an Intellectual Property that is under consideration to be added to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World as part of the “Blue Sky” portion of the “A Boundless Future” presentation that laid out the plans for the Disney Parks for the next couple of years.
