According to data provided to BlogMickey.com via WARN Act documents, Disney has noted that 411 of the nearly 2,700 Cast Members affected by layoffs in California are from Walt Disney Imagineering headquarters in Glendale, CA and associated locations.
In total, Disney expects 28,000 Cast Members to be laid off as a result of an economic hit to The Walt Disney Company as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Walt Disney Imagineering is the creative brain of Disney Parks and responsible for the creative choices at the theme parks that guests know and love.
