With a new update of My Disney Experience, Disney has added a link to make a Disney Park Pass reservation to the quick drawer pop-up box. After downloading the 6.6 update for My Disney Experience, we noticed that a “Make a Park Reservation” link was added to the center ‘+’ button. Unfortunately, clicking on this link will take you to the Disney World website, where you can make a Disney Park Pass reservation like normal. There has been no in-app functionality added to make or manage a Disney Park Pass reservation beyond the “delete” option that has existed since the parks open.
With Disney committing to the Disney Park Pass reservation system into 2022, we hope they are able to prioritize adding some in-app functionality to My Disney Experience for Disney Park Pass reservation management like what already exists for FastPass+ and Dining Reservations. Disney is viewing the Disney Park Pass reservation system as a long-term play, with the head of the Disney theme parks saying that it was “here to stay”.
As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to bring you the latest news, photos, and info from around the Disney Parks!
So how would park hopping work? I have read that’s probably returning fairly soon. Would you be forced to reserve specific multiple parks on specific days? Kinda defeats the spontaneity that makes hopping attractive.
