Disneyland Paris to Close October 30th for Nationwide Lockdown

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that there will be a nationwide lockdown beginning October 30th in France. This lockdown will include Disneyland Paris, which will be the second Disney theme park to reclose due to government orders. Earlier this summer, Hong Kong Disneyland was forced to reclose due to what their government determined was a surge in COVID-19 cases. Hong Kong Disneyland has since reopened.

The French lockdown will last a month, but will be reevaluated every two weeks as France attempts to battle a surge in COVID-19 cases in the region. Disneyland Paris has yet to issue an official statement, but we’ll update this article when they do.
