Earlier today, we drove by the TRON Lightcycle Run construction site and noticed that the next section of the canopy was installed! As a reminder, there are going to be nearly 40 sections of canopy installed when the project is completed.
Before we jump into the latest construction, here’s an aerial look at the construction site. We’ll attempt to get our bearings before we look at the latest progress. As you can see in the photo below from @bioreconstruct, canopy construction is taking place from the left side of the launch clockwise around the existing roller coaster track.
Now, the canopy wraps around nearly halfway around the track. Here are some photos showing the canopy enveloping the “9 to 12 o’clock” section of the track when compared to the “7 to 9 o’clock” section in the aerial photo above.
