Disney World Cast Members will not be able to visit the theme parks during Thanksgiving Week this year as Disney anticipates elevated crowd levels.
A blockout calendar for Cast Members has been updated to reflect availability through December 4th, with all of Thanksgiving Week blocked out as well as Saturdays in November.
As expected, Cast Members are still completely blocked out from visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios on any dates through the end of the year. There is also some limited availability for Cast Members on Fridays and Sundays, with Magic Kingdom being blocked out on those days of the week and even EPCOT blocked out on select Fridays.
Typically, we see Disney open up Cast Member availability when they’re confident that attendance won’t be negatively impacted by Cast Members taking up Disney Park Pass spots.
