Disney World has announced that the next round of Cast Member previews will take place from September 1st through September 22nd as eligibility expands to more Cast Members than the first wave of previews, which just wrapped up. The September 22nd end date is one to circle, as it means that any soft openings or a public opening wouldn’t happen before that date. It’s possible that other affinity groups might get a chance to preview the experience in September.
In our first impression review of the experience, we guessed that a proper opening would take place sometime in October. These Cast Member preview dates seem to indicate that Disney is targeting either a late September or October opening date for Journey of Water, but an official date has not been announced yet.
