Polynesian Village Resort Monorail Station Now Closed for Months-Long Refurbishment

As (sort of) scheduled, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has closed its monorail station for a month-long refurbishment. The work is part of a larger reimagining of the arrival experience as seen in the concept art below.

Here’s a look around the second floor of The Great Ceremonial House, which is still operating as a shopping and dining location albeit a bit in the dark due to work taking place on the roof which requires the windows to be covered.

Monorails simply pass through the station.
