Djuan Rivers, the Vice President of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, will soon be retiring. While an exact date hasn’t been given, fellow recent retiree Joe Rohde recently took to Instagram to congratulate Rivers on his “impending retirement”.

Rivers has been with The Walt Disney Company for 30 years, and has been at the helm of Disney’s Animal Kingdom since 2014, guiding the park through an important expansion. Rivers previously served as VP for Hotels and Business Solutions at Disneyland Paris, VP of Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa, VP of New Business Development in the Parks and Resorts division, VP of Downtown Disney in Orlando, FL, and multiple General Manager and executive positions.

Rivers’ retirement is the latest in a string of high-profile retirements from The Walt Disney Company including Joe Rohde, Jim MacPhee, and Kevin Rafferty.
