New Membership Offerings Will Replace Disneyland Annual Passholder Program

After news broke that Disneyland would be shutting down their Annual Passholder program as we know it, Disneyland President Ken Potrock offered some hope to the massive contingent of Disneyland Annual Passholders who now find themselves without access to Walt’s park.

In a prepared statement, Potrock confirmed that Disneyland would be “sunsetting the current program”, but said that Disneyland is going to take the downtime to develop “new membership offerings that will utilize consumer insights to deliver choice, flexibility and value for our biggest fans”.

Of course, more details are not available at this time, but one thing is for sure – the Disneyland Resort Annual Passholder program is no more, and COVID-19 has forever changed the way that more than 1 million Disney superfans will visit the Disneyland theme parks.
