Disney has updated their Walt Disney World theme park hours for all four theme parks in select dates in February and March. Disney typically extends hours on days when they believe there will be higher crowd levels. For more on crowd levels and park capacity, check out our earlier post.
Here’s a breakdown of the changes:
Magic Kingdom
- Feb. 28: Park hours extended 9am-8pm (previously 9am-7pm)
- Mar. 5: Park hours extended 9am-9pm (previously 9am-8pm)
- Mar. 6-8: Park hours extended 9am-10pm (previously 9am-8pm)
- Mar. 9, 11: Park hours extended 9am-8pm (previously 9am-7pm)
EPCOT
- Mar. 5, 12: Park hours extended 11am-9pm (previously 11am-8pm)
- Mar. 6, 13: Park hours extended 11am-11pm (previously 11am-9pm)
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Mar. 12-13: Park hours extended 9am-8pm (previously 9am-7pm)
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Feb. 28: Park hours extended 8am-7pm (previously 8am-5pm)
- Mar. 6: Park hours extended 8am-8pm (previously 8am-6pm)
- Mar. 11: Park hours extended 8am-6pm (previously 8am-5pm)
- Mar. 12: Park hours extended 8am-7pm (previously 8am-5pm)

Does this means a chance of fireworks with these later hours at MK?
Almost certainly not. Fireworks could return later this year, but Disney hasn’t announced anything yet
