While visiting EPCOT last night, we noticed that Disney is continuing to make theming updates to the Morocco Pavilion. As you may know, Disney took over the pavilion late last year as the third-party operator faced financial hardships as a result of COVID-19.
While many Disney fans have been eagerly waiting to see what direction Disney will take the pavilion, we already have clues as to future of the pavilion thanks to some new theming elements. A week ago, we noticed some of the first theming changes at the pavilion. Now, we have even more changes to report. As you can see in the photos below, Disney has spiced up the theming at Spice Road Table!
The new theming is in line with what a traditional Moroccan spice market would look like. While there shouldn’t have been too much doubt that Disney would be ensuring that the pavilion remains true to the host country, seeing these little touches appear overnight is certainly encouraging as it relates to the future of the pavilion.
