Disney World Launches “Tomorrow Begins Today” Campaign as Consumer Comfort Visiting Theme Parks Reaches Pandemic-Era High

Disney has been busy putting together promotional material for their new “Tomorrow Begins Today” campaign that encourages guests to start planning a Walt Disney World vacation. As part of their efforts, Disney has uploaded a new promotional spot for the “Tomorrow Begins Today” campaign to their YouTube channel.

The new promotional campaign comes at a time when consumer comfort in returning to theme parks reached a pandemic-era high. According to data from Morning Consult, 31% of adults say that they are comfortable returning to theme parks. Previously, consumer comfort hovered around the 24% mark in June 2020 before dipping as low as 15% in August 2020. The all-time low reported was 12% in April 2020.

An uptick in consumer confidence to visit theme parks bodes well for Disney, who have posted losses in the billions of dollars as they’ve ramped up their operations following the reopening of their theme parks in mid-July 2020.

While the Walt Disney World theme parks have been operating at a reduced capacity since last summer, the Disneyland Resort theme parks have remained closed by order of the State of California. That said, new guidance from the State of California could allow Disneyland to reopen as early as April 1st.

    1. I would love to be planning a Disney trip! Unfortunately they still don’t allow mask exemptions and my son is unable to wear a mask….but as soon as they start allowing exemptions it getting rid of the requirement, we will be planning and going!

    2. March 7, long waits, longer lines, non-compliant guests, confused and frustrated cast members… that was Animal Kingdom. Cancel APs, bump daily ticket costs and tie guests up in shuffled lines and closed experiences.

    3. Published park hours show that all Disney World parks are being closed before 6 pm. No night time events scheduled. Why even go to Disney World.

    4. Florida no longer has a mask mandate but Disney wants you to wear one while sitting at a table with your family. No enthusiasm for that.

      • Florida never had a mask mandate. Disney has always operated as a private entity, choosing safety protocols that work best for them
