According to data from Construction.com, Disneyland is in the pre-design phase of a third theme park.

Of course, there are a couple of red flags here, most notably the price. It would cost Disney much more than $50 million to build out a new theme park, but it wasn’t immediately clear what this bid valuation would cover. It’s very, very unlikely (read: impossible) for $50 million to cover an entire theme park. The information posted above was posted in February 2021 – indicating that the project (whatever it may be) is still very active in Disney’s mind.

While we aren’t ready to say that Disney is planning on building a third theme park just yet, it’s clear that Disney is looking at expanding its existing footprint in Anaheim.
