Disney Indefinitely Extends Facial Recognition Test at Magic Kingdom

According to the Walt Disney World website, Disney is indefinitely extending their facial recognition test at the entry to Magic Kingdom theme park.

Recently, the Facial Recognition Technology Test website had an April 23, 2021 end date for the test removed – effectively extending the test indefinitely.

Back on March 23rd, we broke the news that Disney World would be testing a facial recognition technology at the Magic Kingdom theme park entry. Later that same day, we spotted the test underway and provided some photos and video of the experience.

Disney recently sent out a survey to guests who utilized the system, asking for feedback about how many times they used the system and their experiences with the system.
