Incredible Imagineering Playtest Takes Guests into Tinker Bell’s Workshop for a Lifelike Interaction

According to an Instagram post by Jenn Tanaka, Walt Disney Imagineering did a “playtest” for a lifelike interaction with Tinker Bell in her Pixie Hollow workshop during the “A Touch of Disney” event at Disney California Adventure.

During the interaction, which we’ve linked to below, guests interact with a real-size Tinker Bell. Of course, when guests typically visit Tinker Bell during a meet and greet, they are magically shrunken down to her size, but in this playtest from Imagineering, guests interact with a roughly 5″ tall Tinker Bell – a true to life size as seen in the Peter Pan movie.

During the interaction, guests were asked about their favorite season. Tinker Bell appears to be fully acted out and able to have a natural conversation with guests. You can watch the full interaction in the Instagram post below.

What do you think of the playtest? Would you like to meet Tinker Bell in a more true to life size like in the Imagineering playtest, or would you prefer the old way of meeting her? Let us know in the comments below or on social media!
