According to Disney (via Attractions Magazine), there are no current plans to change or update Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Walt Disney World or Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar in Disneyland.
As far as Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at Disneyland Resort and Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Walt Disney World Resort, no plans are on the way to update them currently.
Despite the entire conceit of the bars being themed to Jungle Cruise, Disney will seemingly keep them the same as changes take place within the theme parks. From the name of the bar itself to drinks and food, the Jungle Cruise themes are prevalent. Guests are able to find offerings like the Headhunt Sushi Roll, Schweitzer Falls, Skipper Sipper, Shrunken Zombie Head, and more – most themed to Jungle Cruise.
Of course, the bars are named after the head salesman of the jungle himself – Trader Sam.
