According to Disney, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will distribute virtual queue boarding groups in the morning and afternoon. Now, BlogMickey.com has more details on how the process will work and when the distribution times will be.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Boarding Groups will open for Disneyland at 7am and at 12pm. For the 7am distribution time, guests must have a theme park reservation for Disneyland Park. Guests who start their day at Disney California Adventure will not be eligible for the 7am distribution time, regardless of Park Hopper status.

Then, at 12pm, Boarding Groups will open up to Park Hopper guests as well. In order to be eligible for the 12pm virtual queue distribution, guests must have either:

• Already entered Disneyland
• Already entered Disney California Adventure AND have Park Hopper entitlements on their ticket

Even though Park Hopping guests are eligible to join the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance virtual queue at 12pm, they won’t be able to Park Hop into Disneyland Park until 1pm.

As with boarding group distributions at Walt Disney World, the 7am distribution does not require you to be in the theme park or even on property to join the virtual queue.
