Outdoor Star Wars Marketplace Considered “Indoors”, Guests Required to Wear Masks

The open air Marketplace in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is being considered an “indoor shop” for the purposes of new face mask rules today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As you may be aware, guests are required to wear masks when they are indoors or in attraction queues. The Marketplace poses a unique challenge in that the space is quite crammed, leading to capacity-restricted shopping rules such as one party per shop. Essentially, no rules have changed while shopping in Batuu, and there are still capacity restrictions and face mask requirements despite the change in other outdoor common areas.
