More themed pavement has been removed in favor of what looks like a grey carpet welcoming guests to the main thoroughfare of Tomorrowland. Here’s a look at the latest progress, with Disney opting for a two-tone pavement theme as the future of Tomorrowland continues to take shape.
I like to think when enhancements like this are made, ” If this were to be seen in a brand new Disney theme park in the current day, ex. Shanghai Disneylamd, would this wow people or meet the Disney expectations?” And this most certainly does not. Unless they embellish the pavement after they’re all done as they did in front of Guardians of the Galaxy in California adventure, this is wholly underwhelming. Even a simple long ribbon like curve or a slightly sparkly pavement choice would have helped. This “design” feels last minute.
